George Ackerman PhD (cand.) JD -
Professor Ackerman was admitted to the Washington, DC Bar in 2008.  He was previously admitted to the FL Bar, in 2006, and admitted to the Federal Bar-Middle District in 2007.  He was further admitted to the Federal Bar-Southern District, in 2007. His email address is: AckermanEsq@aol.com www.lawgma.com.  In addition to his legal practice, and teaching activities, professor Ackerman is a member of the United States Coast Guard, Auxiliary and is a PhD Candidate in Criminal Justice.  He is also a sworn Police Officer, State of Florida.

  

 

 
                     

Auriel R. Combs PhD DPC JD
- Dr. Combs is a University of Kentucky graduate (1973).  He received his PhD from American College, his doctorate in Theology from Slidell Baptist Seminary and his law degree from Kensington University College of Law.  He has also studied at the University of Arkansas and BYU.  Dr. Combs is the administrative director of RVU and a congregation leader for Beth Adonai Congregations.  He received his Doctorate in Pastoral Counseling from RVU.  He received his LLM(tax) from Clearwater College of Law.  He is a retired tax lawyer. 
 

    
Bernard C. Dolenz
MD JD – Dr. Dolenz is a University of Texas-San Antonio graduate 1964, and received his MD from the University of Houston Medical Center in 1971. He further specialized in psychiatry. He received his law degree from San Angelo State University in 1983. Dr. Dolenz works in the nursing program at RVU specializing in continuing education courses relating to expert witness, legal testimony, and medical malpractice for nurses and nurse practitioners.  He is a retired practicing psychiatrist and medical-legal witness expert.

      
Raymond Steinberg JD LLM ThD
– Judge Steinberg comes to Rio Verde University via Universidad de Mexico and Rio Verde University School of Theology – Department of Jewish Studies, and Saint Mary’s College of Law.  He served as a district court judge in the 4th Western District of Louisiana and as a college professor for 30 years at St. Mary’s.  Judge Steinberg is currently semi-retire and serves as chief general counsel of Rio Verde University.  He is a graduate of Louisiana State University and completed his law studies at San Diego State where he also completed his Masters of Legal Letters in Immigration Law.  He received his Doctorate of Theology from the Institute for Jewish Studies in North Carolina.

     
David Waites LLD PhD
– Dr. Waites comes to us from our Vancouver branch of Rio Verde University.  He lives in Portland, ORE and is the father of three children.  He is a single father – his wife passed away from cancer in 2006.  Dr. Waites is a practicing psychotherapist in the area of family trauma and grief counseling.  He is a graduate of the University of South Wales where he received his bachelors and doctorate in Law.  He earned his PhD at the University of the South in South Africa, and an MSW at Seattle Bible College.
