LW 1020-02 LEGAL WRITING - 2 credit hours The purpose of this certificate course is to strengthen your concept of legal writing, analysis, and critical thinking skills. This course will focus on crucial issues of writing in the context of law practice that pose difficulty. Here the practitioner will learn an effective writing process, and examine how to write for the appropriate audience. Students will also learn how to apply principles of plain English, logical analysis and proper planning, organizing and drafting as it relates to a variety of legal documents.
